Need help with TPS FAST!!
As the title states. I just replaces the throttle body on my b20vtec in my 92 EG. I have a first gen b16 manifold and a gsr TB. I had to switch over TPS in the process. Now, when it comes to electrical crap, Im not too good. I bought a volt-meter to calibrate the TPS. But which setting should it be on to read the volts coming from the TPS? Im pretty sure DC is good. I dunno. I have a volt meter that has 3 plugs with 2 wires (red and black) and it has a dial that can be on about 20 different settings. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...83347 Very similiar to this one. Is this the basic one? Right now I have it set on DC and turned to setting 20. Spliced the gr/bl and red/black wires so they can be tested. I dont know what Im askin to be exact. Which dial should the volt meter be on? Anything else Im doing wrong?? Sorry mods. Im confused and in a rush for time. Thanks for any suggestions.

set your volt meter to dc voltage, if the meter auto setting then you good togo, if not then you have to set 10 or 20 dc volt. the use two t-pins or needles piercing through the red/blk and grn/blu. it should read around .5 volt at idle or full close and 4.5 volts at wot or full throttle. move the tps to the adjust.
ps.
the movement between at idle and wot should be smooth.
