Default Need help! ASAP! Code issue problem

ok i have a 1994 honda civic ex coupe

this what i got from trying it and what i got.

i turn my key to the on position cel pops on after 2 seconds it shutsoff, then after cranking the motor over for about 15 seconds the cel turns on.

so i turn the key off put the paperclip in the the connector then turn the key to ON, the srs light is flashing constantly and cel is steady on... no flashing.

so im like F*** my ecu,,, then again i think well maybe if i take the paperclip out, turn my car over for 15 seconds to get the cel code to come on then put the paperclip in the connector it should work. well it did 1 steady flash and 5 short flashes which is code 15;no other codes, it just repeats code 15.

my question is from the beginning without turning my car over to get the cel the cel stays steady ON, ok maybe thats one code??? then turn my car over to get code 15... does that mean that i have two codes?

well thats the thing i know it has a good connection. my car has been sitting in giant eagles parking lot for a day now. i went into giant eagle got paperclips noticed the trick wasnt working. because there was plastic film on the paperclips so i took a lighter an burnt that off it works everytime now when i stick it in there.

recap:
turn car to on poisition: cel turns on , then off

turn car to on position without cranking it. do the paper clip ;srs light flashing; but cel light is steady on.

crank my car over for 10 - 15 seconds cel turns on while cranking , then let off with car still in ON position and the cel is still on ...do paper clip trick gives me code 15 and repeats it

Code 15 - Ignition output signal

From research it looks like the distributor may be toast. You should do some of your own research to verify this.

i have been, there is an autozone right across the street thank god
ive replaced the ignitor module, coil, rotor, and distributor cap.
over $200 in parts and it still wont start and still giving me code 15.

You might have wanted to mention all this UP FRONT. There are also other sensors in the distributor. As you have found out, simply replacing parts at random can get costly and NOT fix the problem.

ive realized that pretty quick i was going by what the guys at autozone was telling me and i need my car ive already called off work for two days.what other sensors could be giving me that code and my car not wanting to start. the timing is on as well. but ive pretty much replaced all guts in the distrubtor besides the little magnet inside which is non servicable autozone says, and i doubt that the simple magnet is giving me this problem. any other ideas will be greatly apprecited.

First bit of advice. STOP LISTENING TO UNTRAINED KNUCKLEHEADZ AT AUTOZONE.

Second. YOu need to make sure you're reading that code correctly.
Code 15 usually is the igniter.

Refer to this link:
http://techauto.awardspace.com/ignition.html

"ECU code 15: Code 15 is listed as an error in the "Ignition Output Signal." If you have this code it means that the ECU has found the Ignition module (igniter) signal is not received by the ECU which means that the igniter is dead, has a loose connection or has failed intermittently. The ECU looks for the 10V reference signal from the igniter. If the car won't start because of this code then check for a loose connection or go to section 4 on this page and be ready to replace the igniter..."

So if you replaced that and it is still doing it then your reading of the code might be faulty.

well the ignitor has been replaced with a new. i just dont get it.
my car would stall without warning a few times a week, for about a month and a half.
then i turn my car off come back out of giant eagle and it wont start.

the code my car gives me is 1 long flash, 5 short flashes.. and repeats.
i was maybe thinking since i put the paperclip in without turning my car over it gives me the cel steady on. maybe my ecm is shot? or is that normal ?
but then again i turn my car over to get a cel light then it gives me a code

if my ecm were to fried then it wouldnt give me a code at all?

Turn the ignition switch to on. Check the voltage between A21 and A26 at the ECU. Is there 10V? Measure between A22 and A26. Is there 10V?

No?
Replace the ignitor or repair the short between the two pin connector on your distributor.

Yes?
Try a good known working ECU.
