My 1995 Civic CX Hatchback build!!!!
What's up guys, I just thought i'd make a build thread to show you guys my project car which is currently my daily driver. After selling my first car (1990 EF Hatch), and crashing my second car (1986 Crx Si), I decided to go with a newer generation of civics which is my car the 1995 Civic CX Hatchback (lightest model). I still have passionate love for EF's though! Anywho, as far as this build goes, for now I'm just shooting for looks since it's my daily driver for the moment, so here's what we're dealing with.............................................. ...........
I WILL UPDATE THIS BUILD EVERY CHANCE I GET AS I DO DIFFERENT MODS
So far I put an old thule bike rack I had from years back on top for when I go to the parks to exercise I can put my bike on. I'm looking to upgrade to the newer yakima ones soon though.... Here's what it looks like

$2000, freezing cold a/c, d15b7 but runs strong. no grinds or anything. interior is mint.
*EDIT- bumper is oem, BUT the fenders yes they are replacements from a DX but im thinking of just keeping them on there, putting the little molding that covers the holes, and then just painting so it wont be too noticeable? what do you think....

Re: My 1995 Civic CX Hatchback build!!!!
Fog lights came in..... So I went ahead, took off the bumper, took a knife and cut open the holes. Screws and what not fit good for the most part, and started doing the wiring. Right before I finished up, it started raining hard out and so I was slowly driing like 2-4mph to a dry underground area and the harness got caught under a wheel and the WHOLE HARNESS BURNED! Thanks god my boy had an extra EK foglight wiring harness so we went to work with that one. The switch from my eg harness wasn't working for some reason, so I have the EK switch hanging just for temporary. And now after the 2nd day with the fogs, the little fuse container for the harness keeps blowing up every fuse I put in the fogs so there's a short somewhere in the fogs (sigh) means back to work again soon.. Here's a pic from the process:
Also picked up an eg coupe OEM lip from a junkyard for $5.. Nice!

And for whoever said invest in an alarm system, that's the first thing i ever took care of. I have a Viper alarm system with 2way pager, 2mile radius, and autostart when on manual.
