motor wont turn over. no noise from starter at all.
i have a 92 civic hatch with my singlecam still in it. the car ran percectly fine lastnight on my way home. i went to leave this morning and it didnt work.
here is everything i had checked so far.
all dash lights are working. you can hear the relay and fuel pump working.
ignition switch.
starter relay.
sig wire on starter.
starter is tight.
tranny ground good.
power on starter is good.
fuses are all good.
clutch switch is good.
knocked on the starter with hammer handle. (NOTHING)
all i can think now is the starter itself.
but i wanna see what els it could be b4 i go and buy a new starter.
because i am stumped...
anyone have any ideas?

did you try and jump start it to check for weak battery? If it's a 5 speed try push starting it by popping the clutch. But there's really only a few things it could be. Sounds like you have covered most of them. I would of leaned toward corroded wires but it looks like you took care of that too.

yea the ground to the tranny was corroded but i switched it out. im on a hill so im waiting for a friend to get off of work so we can push start it. the battery was showin 11.5v probably bc i had the radio goin for a lil bit. but that amount of voltage is perfectly fine.
im jus a lil pissed off bc my car would do somthing like this as im headed out to goto a damn interview...

Pull starter, connect directly to battery, jump hot-side to solenoid clip. If the bendix comes out and it starts dancing like a tasmanian devil, the starter's fine and you probably have a bad ignition switch or main relay (though you said that was fine). If nothing happens, the starter's fried.
I just replaced my girl's starter because it went dead overnight. Solenoids short sometimes, and seasonal changes aren't friendly to them.

Definitely charge the battery. And did you check the rubber stopper that presses on the clutch switch at the top of the clutch pedal?

Try putting power to starter directly from battery. Jus grab a piece of wire n connect it to starter n touch +post on ur battery. Make sure u just touch it just to crank car. Make sure ur in neutral. It will work till u get ur problem fixed
