So I have a totaled 95 hatch and a 97 coupe with a bad engine. Now my question is can I use the D15B7 block that I have and put it in the EJ8 that have a D16Y8 swapping the heads? Also can I use the 5 speed manual tranny for the hatch in the coupe? What will I need to make this all work? Is it possible? Thanks for whatever input you can give me.

If the 97 coupe is an ex then you have everything you need and yes the manual trans will be plug play the only other thing you will need is new oem headgasket and either change your oil pump for an obd-2 one (for crank position sensor) or do the crank position sensor trick.
