MES (Memory Erase Signal) connector for SRS light
I have been trying for over 2 hours to unplug the MES connector for the SRS light from my fuse box. For the life of me I cannot understand why that little yellow plug will not come out. Ive tried pushing the tab on top and pulling the plug, Ive tried pulling the tab on top and pulling the plug, I've tried twisting a screwdriver into it while pulling with a pair of pliers. I cannot remember ever being this frustrated. I'm going outside for a smoke. Please someone help me out before I take a sledge hammer to my fuse box. Oh, by the way, I snapped off a small piece of plastic from the bottom of the plug. Was that important?

Re: MES (Memory Erase Signal) connector for SRS light (Dokta)
The clip is on the top of the connector. I assume that you removed the lower dash cover. If you didn't, good luck getting it out. It will help to stick a flat head just above the clip and push down. And come on now; don't pay someone to do it. Also, make sure you are pulling the right connector, there are 2 underneath there.

I heard 2008 Honda accord sedan or coupe does not have MES, is that true.
If so how do you use the paper clip method to reset SRS light or use another method? Thx
