Medium strength sway bars??
Hi,
i've got a 93 cx hatch,
i'm looking into swaybars(currently i have koni's with 450f 350r rates).
car handles pretty good as is, and i'm NOT looking for any crazy aggressive
massively oversteering racecar.
but I do want to diminish bodyroll, and get SOME more oversteer into the car.
but controllable.
So anyways, i've got a 21mm oem front bar sitting around i'm going to use,
but I need a rear bar.
Was about to get a 19mm, but i'm thinking, if there is something alittle stronger, it might be a good idea to get that.
All i've seen are either 19mm, or 22mm rears.
adjustable would be good, but the only adjustable ones i've seen have been hyper expensivo 22mm pieces.
are there any 20 or 21mm bars out there???
lmk! thanks

Re: (bbarbulo)
adjustable ones are expensive?
I just installed a Suspension Techniques SpeedTech competition rear kit on my integra. Its a adjustable rear sway with a lower tie bar. Was under $300.

no you need to drill mounting holes ,or swap the lca's out.
front lca'as must have a portion of them swapped for the swaybar versions.
some attach to the shock mounting point though, like ST

The standard ST rear sway is 19mm, with SpeedTech competition kit has a 22mm rear sway.
Neuspeed is 19mm.
Eibach anti-roll kit has a 17mm rear.

true,
still on the lookout for 20-21mm though!!
or maybe a 22mm that lets you tone it DOWN alot(instead of stiffening it up)

I don't know of one that exists. I think the SpeedTech ius adjustible so you could probably dial it down a little. Or why not go with a 19mm and swap the 350's to the front and the 450's to the rear?

i've tried it with the rates swapped around,
it was crap. Yeah the car rotated easier around turns,
but fawk, 350lbs is just not enough up front for the rideheight i'm at(i'm not dumped or anything, but dropped a good ammount).
actually i'm thinking about going up to 500lbs up front,
now that i've got a supercharger sittting in the engine bay..
either that or just putting in some slightly longer bumpstops(probly what i'll do).
maybe 500f 450r would be a good setup.. hmm.
