Manually close power windows?
Long story short. Have a cx hatch, manual doors. Bought power doors after an accident that crushed my driver side door. Existing doors window wont stay up and its getting cold in NY, so I must put on new doors before I freeze to death. Problem, can't quite track down floor harness or switches. If i run power to the window motor, will the window go up minus the switches?

Windows on power door are down also, those are the ones I want up. Should have specified. Anyway panel is open already, and i'm still lost. i dont want to force anything and break the motor.

pull the plug to the motor, apply ground and 12V to the two wires. If the motor tries to go down, switch the wires.
The normal window switch is simply an easy to use version of this.
I had a switch go bad on me, I did the same thing with no problems.
Just pull the power from the wire when the window gets all the way up. A second of the motor straining to push it up further is not going to harm it.
