main relay and fuel pump trouble
hey guys new to honda tech i just got done doing a wire tuck on my 93 hatch. and i ran into a problem when i went to start it i have no power to the fuel pump.
I tried different main relays but still nothing. i got the pump to kick in after using a jumper wire on terminals 5 and 7 of the connector for the main relay like it said to do in the haynes book. I only extended the driver side wires in the engine bay that connect to the motor harness. i then ran those wires to the middle of the fire wall inside the car. those are the only wires cut and soldered. i then tested every wire i cut and soldered. and they were all perfect.
i did not cut or extend any of the motor harness just grouped all the connectors up and put the threw the fire wall.
I also checked all the fuses in both panels and they were all good.I also made sure all the connectors and grounds were all good also and they were.
any help would be great cause i running out of ideas Thanks!
