Ls Vtec bogging out
Hopefully i can get some ideas to narrow it down.
My lsvtec that has 5,000 miles on it started having problems yesterday. It started when the idle slightly dropped but was ok. In the middle of the intersection it turned off twice and had trouble turning it on. went to get gas and it was fine for about 15 miles then bogged a little getting on the freeway. bogged in first when i got home and turned off.
Next day
replaced main relay and thought it was ok. drove it 14 miles fine, ate dinner and turned it on and had trouble taking off. then got a red light and idle dropped and tried to accelerate and car turned off. turned it back on with some work 15 minutes later, got on freeway and got home without any problems. WTF!! any ideas would be great, thanks honda hoes

Does the idle drop when just sitting? bounce? When it bogs can you kill the motor and restart and it will run fine right after or still bogs?
Check plugs and wires dizzy if necessary. If idle is jumping check IACV.

Re: Ls Vtec bogging out
Ok so i changed the main relay, spark plugs, cleaned out the iacv and no change had occured. Then i decreased the timing a little and it worked perfectly.
7.7-This lasted for about a week and then the old problem came about again. I'm so confused. Anyone had something like this happen to them?
