ls turbo build
hi im doing my first turbo set up after doing a swap. i have a 96 civic with a b18b1 i want to know if stock block is good to turbo and steps i should do thanks

No you're not. What you're going to do after the swap is read up on everything that you can before you even buy one part. The FAQs in the Forced Induction section are pretty good sources as well as the link in my sig to explain how it all goes together. Or if you don't want to do any research you can do what many seem to think is the easy route and buy an Ebay kit, slap it on and hope for the best.
Now If I'm assuming wrong and you HAVE done some research what you should have done is told us what kit you're putting together.

Fix any problems the motor has before you go turbo, because those problems will only amplify when boosted. Do a compression test and leak down test. If those check out good make sure it doesn't consume a lot of oil and then you should be fine.
