i have a built d16z6, vitara pistons. speedomotive b18 h-beam rods, acl bearings, machinec honed block, block guard, shimmed top line oil pump; i replaced the rod bearings with new ones, already cleaned oil pick up, oil pan is mint condition, oil pressure is at 60psi at cold idle and 10 psi at hot idle, oil line to guage is tapped from the head(autometer guage), im using 20w30 diesel oil with lucas to boost up the oil pressure but im still at 10psi at idle and oil light never comes on, at 3000rpms im at 50 psi, just want to know if it is safe to run it the way it is. i already tried a different guage and it reads the same, even tapped it from the oil sending unit and oil pressure is still the same, dont want to take anything else apart unless i have to. any suggestions...
