looking for oem foglight switch
where on earth can I find an OEM foglight switch for my 2000 civic EX? I got aftermarket foglights and the switch was garbage, looking for oem quality here.

That really depends.
The Dark Grey (TYPE K / Classy Grey) switches are discontinued and are sought after, making them a bit expensive and hard to find.
The Light Gray (TYPE F / Excel Charcoal) switches I believe you might still be able to find from Honda. Maybe.
The Taupe (TYPE P / Medium Taupe) switches should also still be available.
Remember nearly all '96-'00 Civic OEM options are discontinued and can be very difficult to find at all.
And yes, most Honda dealer sites will show ALL parts as being available, but will later tell you (after you order) that the part you want is not able to be ordered because they're discontinued or otherwise out of stock.
