Default KYB GR-2 Shocks with TEIN springs?

S-tech Teins? I have heard that these shocks are just a replacement for stock, so they are not good with aftermarket springs. Does this mean they will blow early because of the lowering springs, like stock shocks? What shocks do you reccomend for TEIN s-Techs? I need something affordable, but not sh!tty.

How about Tokico HP's? Are these the same thing as blues?

Thanks

GR2 is no good...

Tokico HP = Tokico blue, not much better than GR2, but may last a little longer.

I'd look at Koni Special (aka: red)

i think u should be ok with those cuz the teins dont drop too much (1.5 i think). Or you can just pay a lil more for AGXs. But yea if those Koni's are affordable id go with those. Look on ebay.

you should be fine, the Tein S-tech springs aren't a tremendous drop, so i think you should be alright, and if the shocks do end up blowing, just get something better.

$250 can get you tokico blues which will be fine with the s-techs. One reason why the s-techs don't blow struts easily is because they are soft springs, almost as soft as stock.

I prefer the GR2's personally. I am currently running the HP's b/c they seem to be popular, but IMO teh GR2's ride better & they do last fine on mild drops such as the S techs
