Default Which intake manifold would be best for B18C1

I was just wandering which would be best. I have an aem short ram intake. Would a ctr IM, itr IM, or Skunk 2 IM be better. Also which would give the best power gains? And what do each cost?

ctr=$$$
itr=$$$
Skunk 2=$$$

ctr= hp gain?
itr=hp gain?
Skunk 2=hp gain?

Thanks for any help.

Skunk intake manifold is the only one out of the 3 that will bolt to a B18C1 head. Guess your going with the skunk manifold, huh?

the p72 head has a different bolt pattern than any other b seris head. you have to get a skunk2 if you want that syle intake. you could get a jg edlebrock or str but they are more for boost.

skunk2 gets a from me.

Ace- well i guess so.LOL

GERM- I was planning on boosting it later on when I get the $$$ and build the custom turbo kit. So do you think that i should just go ahead and get the jg or str. Or should I just stick with the Skunk 2?

If you ran a JG or STR on an NA car it would feel even more torqueless. Those manis are best for turbos because of the huge plenum which really only a turbo could take full advantage of. Skunk2 is awesome in a low to mid range turbo kit as well.

I am switching to the RevHard manifold, I think it would be better for my FI setup. On your motor, you need to decide if all out power with power higher in the rpm is what you want. If so, STR, RevHard, venom, JG/Edelbrock are your choices. If you want more mid range with a decent peak hp number, then you can't go wrong with Skunk2. I have used it on two different motors (built Ls/Vtec with 200 shot nitrous, and built GSR with turbo setup) and have been happy with the output. Now, I am looking for more boost and more power and decided to go larger with the manifold.

skunk2 and itr manifold will show you similar top end power gains
the main difference is that you will have to get a itr manifold milled to fit the b18c1 head
