Default Im screwed!!! stripped the crap out of the threads doing suspension....what to do???

alright, so Im putting in rear disks for my 96 civic ex, and the upper stablizer bar (the small one w/ 2 bolts attaching to the frame--the one where ppl put washers to fix camber) yeah, so I was screwing the bolt in and accidentally stripped the threads inside the hole-- in the body of car. THeres no way to force the bolt in anymore, its really loose, and I dont know what to do??? could someone plz help, I need to go drive to school and work, ahhhh, this really sucks!!!

I heard that there's something that fixes threads, Im doubtful itll work. Also, could I take the car to a machine shop and have them re-thread that thing somehow?? give me some advice plz..

You can either get the threads repaired or get a longer bolt, drill all the way through to the inside of the car and put a nut on the end.....

Do a little checking though to see where the bolt will come out, as I am not sure.

There is one thing you can try. Its called a tap. Go to your local Home depot and ask about a tap. What it does is create new threads in the socket so you can put the bolt back on. Good luck.

Yes you can get a tap, and tap the nut with a bigger thread, and find the same thread bolt, and there ya go..
