IACV hoses, where exactly do they go on a B16/18?
Can someone tell me exactly how the IACV is suppose to connected to coolant lines? right now the driver side nipple on the IACV goes into the water pipe on the back of the block, and the passenger side nipple goes into the small nipple on the intake manifold where the FITV used to go.. (i blocked off the FITV)
I've noticed the IACV hoses and the unit itself becomes insanely hot after the car completely warms up, and it's causing my entire intake manifold to become hot. So could someone please help me out here?

It supposed to get hot, that's why they are there. To help get the car up to operating temperature quicker, though its mostly for the winter. Unless you remove ALL of the coolent lines going to the intake manifold and get a hondata IM gasket you will never notice a difference.

awesome suggestion.. yea i've already blocked the FITV, i'm running an obd0 intake manifold so i'll need to update to 0bd1 before I can use the hondata gasket.. thanks!
