Default I bought a car with a LEGIT six finger wheel gap!! ..spend my money!! help me fix

Alright. In a previous post I explained that I got the civic fairly cheap. It was riced out with several aftermarket pieces, its oem camille red (purple) and Ive tried to to clean it up cheaply. It looks "better" but I need some help. I am not, will not change the bodykit on it because its a waste of money. If the car runs real solid for me then I will consider it but not yet.

This car came with a busted front end, blown shocks, and some maxspeed coilovers and a 6 finger wheel gap. Ive snapped some pics you can see the wheel gap and in one picture you see two purple objects intersecting. This is where the body kit extends past the stock fender line, I would have to say a good 3 inches maybe 4. This thing is cranked up all the way on the maxspeeds so it sits way higher than stock.
I need some experts to reccomend me a setup. Ive searched and searched and I dont see any bodykited cars on the oem 14 wheels with anytime of aftermarket springs.( FOR OBVIOUS REASONS)

My focus is a
-quick cleaning (completed)
-a suspension overhaul ( need some help)
-If it runs real good undo the bodykit etc.

Im looking for a Stock-Mild moderate stiff setup.
Close the wheelgap
ride good handle good. NO SCRAPING OR DIPPING DOWN THE ROAD.
Low but not unmanageable. Will be a daily driver.

narrowed it down to
GR2- Over HTECH
GR2 - Over Prokit
AGX- over Htech
AGX- over prokit

what should I do? what do you think>?

Thanks HONDA-TECH!

Eibach Sportlines or Prokit (if you want to be a little higher) with AGX.

This is out of the options you listed.

well that kit is "about" three inches lower than the stock lines ...do you think sportlines will put me too low? Im open to anything but I dont want to install and be like "i am too low to daily drive"

sportlines only drop 1.75 inches while the prokit drops 1.5... not 3

IMO I don't think Sportline will be low enough. But they definitely won't be close to too low.

i meant the stock lines of the bodykit sit about three inches lower than stock. Therefore if I dropped its 1.75inches i think the bodykit would touch the ground and make it hard drive on northeast roads

OP: I don't get why the bodykit would be so hard to ditch. You say you want the car to run well before you remove it, and that removing it will be a waste of money, but you're afraid it's going to get in the way of lowering the car. Spend the afternoon and remove that bitch. It won't cost you a dime. The only way it would be a waste of money is if you like the kit. If you do that's cool, but if you don't then take it off.

Maybe I don't know what's involved in removing the bodykit as I've never had one or come that close to one.

taking it off is not hard....but getting oem or equivalent front and rear bumpers even at the boneyard is a 150...plus id have to spray another 150 doubt there are many purple civics at the boneyard.

Its simple I know but im trying to be practical on this one.....

function over fashion i agree ....but looking for "less work over more work" at the moment

BTW i have seen sportlines SAG over time...whats ur experience with them?

thanks for the info...my supercharged vq30 nissan maxima has the full tein d2 coilover setup....with little to no engine mods I cant justify a similar setup on this honda. I bought this car for the gas mileage/ reliability........ the 400 plus bucks I spend on finding OEM pieces and the time getting it sprayed and color matched can be routed elsewhere ...IMHO

My opinion:
Take bodykit off, get replacement front and rear bumpers. My .02 cents.

i understand but that would leave me with 4 blown shocks and cracked perches on the maxspeeds ...not inspectable up here in Ma and Id be out 400 or so beans IF i take my time sourcing parts. I WISH i could do both but its a suspension/safety right away and appearance second

Worked awsome for me. illuminas are 5-way adjustable too, very easy to use.
