How to tell if the motor is stolen?
I doubt it is but a friend did bring it to attention that the number under the d15b on my motor does kinda look fake like the to number 2s like kinda sketched in and look funky

If you had a pic it would be easier to tell. Did the motor come with the car, or did you buy it off the internet to do a swap?

If it is stolen, what will you do? I HIGHLY doubt you're going to bring it to the attention of authorities to find out what vehicle the motor originated from nor give the motor back to the original owner.

dont belive there really is any way to tell if the theives knew at all what they were doing, itd be nice if motors had vin #'s too, UNremovable ones somehow...

What I was also thinking when I was posting. The JDM D15B might have different VIN #'s and just flat out #'s than a USDM D15B7/D15B8.
