the first year of the del sol was 93.
there were only 2 models that year.
s=105hp
si=125hp
in 94 the vtec became available and had 160hp

we'll Im not from Japan so Ive never seen a 92 sol, the 93 US sol had 102 and 125 (Si nodel) hp, not sure bout 102 or 105 but certain on the d16z6 model.

sorry to dig up a 4 year old thread but i used the SEARCH button ! 
My buddy has a '93 Del Sol Si. We live in Canada so I don't know how different it would be from the US models. He says it's 125hp with v-tec but here it says that v-tec in Del Sols came in 94. I drove his car and honestly I didn't feel the v-tec at all.

I dont know the HP figures but your buddy more than likely has a US equivelent of the DEL SOL Si, which is SOHC VTEC. The 94 you were referring to is the DEL SOL VTEC (vtec actually in the trim name) It had a DOHC vtec motor.
