how easy and how much to replace cv joints?
sounds like my cv joints went bad and was wondering how much they cost for the part and labor. or is it one of those diy things? Id like to do it myself to save on labor but was wondering how hard it was.
when i got slow in first or reverse, and tap the breaks.. i hear a clicking noise in my front end. sounds like bad cv joints right? or could it be something else

it would be alot less trouble to just replace your axles....u can get them for about $60 rebuilt

look at above post. Doing your cv boots etc is a pia. Cleaner to do axles, u dont mess with the grease etc etc. Your going to remove the axles anyway.

I recently replaced my axles using this tutorial. It is located at the top of the forum in the FAQ thread.

Just replace the axles, much easier. Try to get some from somewhere that offers a lifetime warranty, that way if you break one or one goes bad you can just take it back and get a new one.
