What are these plugs?!?

I can't figure out what these two plugs are for...I think one is the water temp sensor (positive) but my harness won't plug into it.

The second plug may be a knock sensor but I don't know.

You need to remove the white plastic from each connector. The white piece belongs in the end your trying to plug in.

Happens a lot....
