Thanks! Its a '96 spec too!!!

Im going to get a Integra....hmmm....i dont even know what its called...it wouldnt be the "cluster cover" 'cause thats the clear plastic lens i would assume on the cluster itself. Im talking about the trim i guess? the black piece that shapes the cluster to the dash. Im going to see if i can figure out a way to meld the front of my EK trim to the back of the integra trim so its tight on both sides.

Quick question to the OP i took my dash out and the only thing i am struggling with is getting the climate control air mix cable to connect back to that post and work properly. do you think you could take a quick pic of it assembled i would appreciate it!

Thanks.

if your going to use the SEM paint you need to use adhesion promoter...plus the BIGGEST factor of how well your paint sticks is how well you prep. you have to get all of the oils and grease out or else it wont stick, or if it does once it gets warm it will peel/chip/crack because the oils are coming to the surface.

Mix of rain and snow today here in NY so i decided to get a head start a do the re-pinning my cluster swap. I used BlueIntergraBoy 's wiring diagram and i think we did a great job. No confusion on any of the wiring, and every line was labeled exactly as it was. it was a great how to and would recommended to anyone. Heres the link to his write up.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/94-97-98-01-integra-cluster-into-92-95-96-00-civic-wiring-diagrams-1053318/

this is the diagram that i used. I have a '96 EJ6 (DX, no ABS, no C/C) I went by the 94-97 Intergra wiring becuase i installed the '96 spec JDM ITR cluster pictured above. Also for note, there is no plug for SRS on the '96 spec cluster. So i just will leave it unplugged. My Airbags will still work, its simply a indicator light.

Overall it took me about 30-45 minutes to re-pin everything. Instructions were exact with methods of how to remove pins correctly and re-pin in location. I wish my entire dash wasnt apart with all connections undone so i could have plugged it in and checked it out. I dont think im going to have any problems. My project for this week is to figure out how to get the cluster to fit nice and flush. I think im gonna try to meld a Integra cover to the civic one. Well see how it goes. All pieces are getting painted hopefully this weekend. Once thats done, the install comes.

sooo i just went next door and bought the Dupont paint im going to use. Total?

$104.39 !!!! FOR A QUART! <-------- and thats with a discount!

the guy said it works amazing and is well worth it. Said he sprayed his seat for his mini-bike and it looks great. He said he scrapes it with a metal spatula to get the mud and dirt off and it still looks great..none the less think of the beating a f'in mini-bike seat takes....

heres some pics of what the $100+ can looks like....

PAINT THIS WEEKEND!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHghafjaslkjdf!!!!! im loosin it!.....i finished wrapping my A-pillars in the suede and it looks......amazing. there arent many other words for it. The fabric adhered to the plastic GREAT! the texture of the ultra-suede Alcantara is awesome...hopefully do headliner tonight, prep all remaining pieces tomorrow for a little paint on late Friday afternoon and the rest Saturday. I cant even put my head down to go to sleep without thinking about this god damn interior!
