single cam boost
hey i wanted to see if anyone could help i have an eg hatch d15b7 i wanted to go boost like 7-8 punds the most just to get around for now while i get a b motor but i also want to keep my ac what would i need in order for that to be possible i heard something about the downpipe and a special turbo manifold please help and make any suggestions please thank you ........

When you're looking for a turbo manifold make sure you find one that is "AC Compatible". Most websites that you can order from will tell you if it's AC compatible.
If you're looking to turbo your D now and boost the B later you will have to buy a new manifold. You might be better of waiting to do your swap before you boost.

Why not? Down pipe size has nothing to do with A/c or not. Its the manifold and size of the turbo that will let you keep a/c.

Depending on how everything is setup a 3" could cause you to loose AC.
Best thing to do is find an AC compatible turbo setup.
