Re: How to change my coolant on my EG? (frank358fr)
Summary:
1) With the car completely cooled off, lift front end of the car if you can't get under it as is
2) Open radiator cap. Look for the plastic looking screw at the bottom of radiator
3) Drain it into a pan or bucket
4) Tighten screw back up, lower car
5) Fill the radiator with coolant/water/whatever
6) Leave cap off, turn on the car with the heat on hot FULL BLAST
7) Allow the radiator to let air bubbles out, and keep filling the radiator back up as coolant level goes down.
8) Do this until level does not go down anymore, temperature gauge is at normal and the heat is actually hot
9) If it doesn't get hot, try giving it a couple small revs and wait
