Default How to bleed the clutch fluid????

Where do you bleed the clutch fluid from....the fluid in hers is pretty black and nastly looking. Is it bled from the tiny resivior? Or is there a bleeder valve somewhere???

Bleeder valve near your radiator on the slave cylinder.

I bled the clutch lines but now i can't get any feel back to the pedal. Or do i need someone to help me. Have them pump the clutch while i tighten the valve back up?

Follow this procedure to properly bleed the hydraulic clutch which is similar to bleeding brakes.

1) Top off the clutch master cylinder reservoir.

2) Put a clear plastic tube on the bleeder nipple and submerge the end of the tube in a jar with some clutch hydraulic fluid.

3) Slowly depress the clutch pedal.

4) SLIGHTLY loosen the bleeder nipple.

5) While fluid is traveling through the tube, tighten the bleeder BEFORE the pedal is fully depressed.

6) Release pedal.

Repeat procedure until you are certain:

A) No bubbles appear in the fluid stream.

B) The bleeder was opened after the clutch pedal started depressing and was closed before the pedal reached the bottom.

C) The master cylinder reservoir never uncovered the ports in the bottom.

its real simple. have someone push the pedal down, crack the bleeder on the slave, close the bleeder, top off resivoir, repeat. theres no pumping needed for bleeding a clutch like there is in brake bleeding.

i assume that i'll have to bleed the clutch, but i just changed the clutch out, put it all back together, and the pedle doesnt seem as firm as it did from before, i switched the stock clutch to a stock clutch. if i push the clutch in it will go back, but again, not as firm as it used to be, so if i bleed the clutch, it will take care of it right???

Doing this is a one-man job. You do NOT have to re-tighten the bleeder bolt (like you would for brake bleeding). As Filthy Focker! pointed out, get a bottle, put some clean fluid in it. Put a clear hose on the end of the bleeder bolt and submerge the other end in the bottle. Crack the bleeder bolt open. Pump slowly. You may have to pull the clutch pedal back up manually. Keep an eye on the resovoir keeping it topped off.

It's outlined this way in the Helms manual.
