Hood Release Cable Clips
Unfortunately the auto haulers who shipped my car (from one state to another) broke my hood latch cable. I also see a couple black metal clips on the drivers side floor. I have a hunch that they are part of the install for the hood latch cable.
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...y5=ENGINE+HOOD says that there are 6 of the #1 clips.
Can anyone show me a picture of where they each go and how they are installed?

Yes, sorry it is a 92 civic.
Hmm, I guess these black metal clips I see on the inside floor are not from the hood cable. That diagram shows no clips on the inside of the car, only those white/yellow clips that are under the fender on the other side of the engine bay.

Re: Hood Release Cable Clips
Clips like those normally come under the center console tabs, cluster, lower dash cover (below steering wheel) and the cup holder to keep them in.

Re: Hood Release Cable Clips
Idk much about your year but on most civics.. The lower dash kneew bolster cover has both screws and clips like those on the tabs that snap into place... It could be nothing. Probably random clips.
But if you see any part of knee cover area sagging or the cluster not flush the clips could be from broken off tabs, Check under your seat too it could be for the seat belt wire to keep it attached to the seat.
