That's all fine and good, but if you make it a sticky, change the title to "n00bs: please use the "search" button"
Even better, post some links to the questions that have been asked a billion times.
Kinda like a FAQ, but not.
Eh, who am I kidding?! This will be a sticky and the first post I read will be "what's the best exhaust?"

Chad, I'm afraid it's a losing battle.
It's certainly a real problem, though, because the people with the real and best answers might just get tired of answering the questions, and if you do not search first, you run the risk of getting some second-rate advice.
This is not a fight you're ever going to win, I'm afraid.

Yes this is a fight that I'm going to lose, so I'm going to go out swinging! I get sick of hearing people rip on the b16, dangit my b16 rocked! it was a great starting point for me as far as power. Yes, there was no TQ but put some nawz on it and it rolled!

Yeah it must be dangerously close to the New Topic button. That's probably the problem, let's get admin on this right away mmmmmk.

It's futile. Back in PureHonda's glory days we had the same problem. There was even a huge FAQ, with tons of great stuff in it, but the same questions kept coming up over and over.
I am now of the attitude that the only way to fix this problem is to educate the n00bs who ask these questions...educate them with the best and most detailed information possible. In this way, a new generation of enlightened import enthusiasts will be born, and then they can answer the new n00bs' questions.
