Help!!! Tires rubbing on inner fender!!??!!
I've got a 98 ex, I just bought some 16" rota sub-zeros with 205/45 dunlops, and they are rubbing the inner fender when I turn, what do I do? I have coilovers so I could adjust them, but it seems that they are rubbing on the inside,so adjusting my coilovers might not help. I'm pissed I can't really drive right now, someone help!!

I have a 98 Civic Ex Coupe. I had the same problem when I had 17 inch rims. I was dropped around 2.5 inches, and never had a rubbing problem untill I put in a camber kit. In the rear I rubbed so just under the wheel well there should be a rubber liner, i took a hammer and bent that in enough so I didn't rub anymore. Dont bend it too much it will actually crack the paint. For the front, my tires rubbed for a while but now when I take off my rims I can see where it rubbed and left a good size indent but after a while it never did it again. I'm sure it only rubs when you cut the wheel real sharply. I wouldn't worry about it. If its that big of a problem then get tires with a smaller wheel wall.

I'm slammed about 2.25 or 2.5 inches and yea it only rubs when I cut it real hard I guess I'll either try to pound it in or just wait it out I guess,

raising it up is almost out of the question, almost, If I can't get the inner fender to work with me I may have to, but I sure as **** don't want to. It looks and drives way too good to raise it at all. I've only really noticed it when I'm going around a corner and hit a bump, (there are a lot of bumps here), then it rubs kinda bad. On a separate note, these wheels are perfect for my white ex, those rota sub-zeros, steel gray with the polished lip, they're replicas of the racing hart CPO35, whatever, they're dope, I'm going to post some photos, so look for'em.

Taking your fender lining out screw up a lot of ****. Not to mention throwing all kinds of dirt on your door hinges, which will cause them to prematurely fail. Why ruin a good car for a set of $200 springs???
Go buy a set of real springs, like the Tein S for $150.
