My temperature needle goes above the middle and then fan kicks in ..I bled the radiator twice and its a new radiator, new fan .. what else to do ? It heats up if the car its on with out moving ..

Sounds like a faulty fan switch on the thermostat housing. Unplug the 2P switch connector and jump it with a wire to make the fan run continuously. If the engine now idles without overheating, replace the switch.

maybe you need a new water temp sensor.

Well it doesn't idle just the temperature. Goes up and not to the top but above half and then the fan kicks in and temp goes down

So it goes up to half......the fan then kicks in......and then the temp goes back down.....
I may be crazy, but this sounds like the cooling system is doing exactly what it is supposed to do....

I have two Civics and the temp needle is always significantly below the halfway mark.

No the needle goes above half ..doest touck all the way up.. it stops a qrt before reaches top then fan kicks in

Could I have a faulty temperature sensor even tho my check engine light its not on ?

ok if the needle is 3/4 high u have a sever problem. just cus its not at red does not mean its not over heating. make sure you have the right radiator your using a good quality coolant propotionatly mixed new thermostat with a real gasket not a liquid gasket. if still u might have a bad water pump, bad radiator cap or hoses. process of elimination

Well temperature goes up on long stops like 2 min stops... then needle goes 3/4 and then needle goes down by it self .. it doesn't heat while driiving or long distances ..
