as long as it's not cut at the main plug/harness passing through door frame, it should be an easy job.
disconnect all the plugs - pry out wire holders and install in reverse order.

if what you see in going in to the door isn't cut - it would be just the door harness. two harnesses connect at the door frame with a weather-pack type connector.
as for tips on removing, a small screwdriver covered in masking tape has helped me before. being very easy on the force levels, of course.

have you thought about re-wiring your harness, as I assume you haven't purchased a replacement?

Yeah I've tried re-wiring it before its just to damage the car has been threw a lot it use to be my girls then at one point everyone in the family was using it. After a while everyone forgot about it it was just sitting in my inlaws garage till I went over and pick it up and fixed it re-did the heads and just a little maintenance after that and now that's my daily driver beats driving my girls Lexus or my challenger.
So on a side not I went to the dealer I purchase all new window harness for both front doors. And a new window run since mine was half ripped.
