Help with D16Y8 Rebuild
Hey, people. I just bought a Y8 that i'm rebuilding with new bearings, rings, etc, etc... Anyway, the engine had spun a rod bearing. I miked all the journals (main and rod), but I can't find any service specs in my manual. Everything was within specs for new assembly, but the manual doesn't tell me how low the rod journals can be turned before they are below service spec. Does anyone know what the specs are? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
