Yes i know you guy will think its a bad idea to do it, but every1 got different taste and i dink it look pretty good. Be searching on the forum, found a few but none of them solve my problem, Also im from Australia

I have the following parts
-99 civic guards
-99 bonnet
-99 front bar
-99 grill
-99 radiator support
-del sol guards

EK radiator support seems to line up quiet good but i have problem with the bonnet hinges, anyone out there done civic conversion to their del sol

What hinges did u use civic or del sol?

Im stuck there thats why i can't work on my guards or anything else

It looks pretty good to me so please guy if you guys got nothing good to say then don't say it in here

as you know, its not a popular conversion so its going to take time for you to find the right people who actually did this conversion. but good luck

i havent done nor i will i ever, but i would assume if the sol hinges dont work the civics would?

i think that is probly one of the only conversions id do.

yeh but civic hinges wont fit on the car, i modded the del sol hinges to fit ek bonnet but the hinges sits to low and the bonnet wont close

personally, i reckon the civic 99 front looks good on the Sol, because 99 civic is a round shape and Sol looks round also, its pretty good combination i guess

hmm if the hinges sit to low, youll need to put spacers in with longer bolts.

Damn that looks so much better IMO with the Civic front end. If they came like that I would actually consider driving one. Just not a fan of the EG civic look with the integra circle lights.

ive always wanted someone to do the eg front end conversion, idk if anyone has done it or not but i think it would look kind of neat.

I did the ek conversion on a sol about a year and a half ago. Once we got the radiator support on and alligned with the hood we tacked it. I think we used the civic hinges but i think they went right on once we scraped the seam sealer off around the cowl where the hinges bolt up. I am about 99 percent sure thats what we did. I got a BAD memory. What are u going to do fender wise? u got that covered?

yeh thanks for the info, i just used the civic hinges yesterday but i only can bolt up one hole.

Yeah guards are all good, just waiting for my civic guards to come through, i dun wana chop any guards yet unil i get my bonnet on the car.
