HELP!! Cant get SRS Light off!! ( DID Search)
I followed the steps below, made the connector plug, plugged it while my ignition was off, waited for the light to turn off after 6 seconds like its suppose to but it never did
ANY SUGGESTIONS?
1st step in erasing the memory is to turn the ignition off and connect the SCS Service connector to the MES Plug,
2nd Turn Ignition on. SRS indicator light will come on for about 6 seconds then go off.
3rd Disconnect SCS service connector for MES connector within 4 seconds after SRS indicator light goes off. SRS indicator light will come on again.
4th Reconnect SCS service connector the MES connector within 4 seconds after SRS light comes on. SRS indicator light will go off.
5th Disconnect SCS service connector from MES connector within 4 seconds. SRS indicator light will indicate that memory is erased by blinking 2 times.
6th Turn ignition off, and wait 10 seconds. Start vehicle like normal and light should come on and go out like normal. You have reset your SRS light, congrats.

What kinda of steering wheel do you have?
If you have a non-airbag (momo)
your SRS light will be one, and your passanger air bagwon't work.

its not that it bothers me that much its that the car is being sold next week and I want to make sure everything is in tip top shape and functions properly

I just put a motor in the car and I thought the wiring was fucked up because it wouldt turn over so I started removing the dash to change the harness but then realized my tranny ground wasnt connected so I put everything back on but during that time I wasnt really worried about the srs light so the ignition switch was on when the airbags were uplugged so thats how it got on
