I'm replacing the head gasket on my B16A2.
Per the HELM instructions, I pulled out the head oil control orifice to clean, and replace the o-ring ... however, much to my surprise, there wasn't an o-ring!
Am I correct to assume foul-play?
I can't verify all of the history of this motor, and I suspect at some point, someone replaced the head ... most likely re-using the head gasket and bolts (which is why the damn thing has been leaking so badly with only ~100k miles on it.
I just can't imagine why someone would pull out the orifice without at least re-using the o-ring.
