Hazard lights not working but I got the turn signals to work.
Car Info: 1998 Honda Civic DX 4dr
Recently replaced both rear turn signals from bulb to LED and used the hazard lights to test. Both sides were blinking normally. I noticed that they were flashing too fast if I used left turn or right turn switch directly, but normal speed with hazard switch. Added resistors to take care of them and it fixed the problem. Changed the reverse lights to LED as well and both reverse lights worked. After an hour I started driving and noticed that each turn signals doesn't turn on and the hazard light doesn't work either. Made me wonder if the reverse light caused an issue. Disconnected the connections that are in the trunk cover which are the inner tail lights and the reverse lights. Didn't fix the issue. Checked the fuse under Turn Lights (Hazard Warning Switch) and saw the fuse was broken. Replaced it and now the left and right turn signals work and at regular speed again. Unfortunately the hazard switch doesn't work.
Any idea as to why this isn't working? Is there another fuse specifically for it? Kind of weird if there is since the label of what I replaced is for turn signals and hazard warning. Is there something else I need to check or diagnose? Haven't tested if the reverse lights will cause the fuse to blow again and hope it won't.
P.S. I do however notice I get shock often from this car. I thought it was the faulty car alarm previously installed as I saw some cables were broken by the doors. But new car alarm system was installed professionally and I'm still randomly getting shocked. Hope this isn't really the cause of the LED lights not working since I've been getting randomly shocked before any of the LED light switching.
