strange idle no cels
99 civic b20 swap jumped to obd2a rywire jumper harness 97 p75 em1 engine harness
no check engine lights
I recently took my turbo kit off and converted to obd2a to pass emissions my car sat for 2-3 months till about 2-3 weeks ago. Ever since i took my kit off and converted my car to obd2a from obd1 it has been idling around 1000-1200. i have gotten a code 14 once never checked it with a scanner tool. i changed the iacv with 3 other ones off of running motors even cleaned them all out to make sure. the idle some times bounces between 1500-2000, 1000-1500 or some times stays at 2k. I tried spraying wd40 around the throttle body gasket and intake manifold gasket the idle didn't change. i unplugged the tps, map, iacv (one at a time) and the idle changed. checked my timing belt there's hardly any slack timing is on. also changed the the map sensor with 2 other working ones.
i have a skunk2 pro series intake manifold and throttle body when the intake is off i put my finger on the hole that goes to the *IACV* and the idles drops around 1200. when i took my s2 tb off and but a stock d16y8 tb on and cover the *FICV*(S2 Tb dont have ficv) hole its idles around 1k. i have checked every thing i can think of.

Re: strange idle no cels
Engine could be running weird since you have a tb and manifold made for a turbo setup. Pressure could be off. Also, I'm pretty sure your engine is obd2b, if that would matter on your harness. And also, Y8's don't have FITV's... so what were you messing with?

Re: strange idle no cels
Should I just put a stock manifold on then? I got z6 and y8 heads laying around I'm guessing I grabbed the z6 tb then. I could upload some pics or videos. This **** is bothering me.
