A gift from Honda of America
I got a gift card from Honda of America a few days ago for $129. They said I could use it for whatever at any of the dealers. It looks like a debit card but it says Honda. I am just wondering why I got that. They said it is for being a loyal Honda Owner? Weird Huh? What should I get for my 98 Civic HB?

Extra set of spark plugs.
5 quarts of Honda MTF.
A Honda Optional Equipment T-shirt.
Now why didn't I get one? I own two Hondas!

He probably bought his new......I own two hondas as well. One was bought last April from the dealer (used certified) but still was this year......rofl.
MTF costs about 6 bux a quart.....oh and it takes two per change so get 6.

Oh yeah, I did buy mine new. I understand that they sent them to their customers. My only question is why, and who else got one. Some of you guys are very negative. $129 is still $129, you can still add more money and consider it as $129 off. BTW, I already have the chin spoiler, I agree though... I like it.

get the itr rear sway bar with the bushings and d brackets. that would be under $100. you still have to buy the beaks kit, but the itr rear bar and si front sway bar is a great combo.

Re: A gift from Honda of America (Halo)
Honestly, it looks like a VISA type card but smaller with a magnetic barcode strip in the back, and id numbers. It also has a imprint of Bank of America on the back.
I think that it can be used ANYWHERE, but the card says that I must follow the guidelines supplied with the card, and HONDA supplied that part

Re: A gift from Honda of America (ek_mr5)
My last three cars were Hondas, bought new, and I never got anything like that;
(a recall notice once about a possible malfunction in the wiper motor is about it).
But, as I've read here, it's really a cruel joke: you won't get much from the dealer-
ship with that kinda' cash. But still...you can get a few things that aren't "high" on
your wishlist. Read the fine print, though...it might say something like: "only good with
the purchase of a new Honda".
