Default Fuel System upgrades

i am wanting to get more power out of a D16Y8. i just put on new header and exhaust. i want to get into the fuel system now that i have more room to breath. i have been looking at injectors, rail, and pump. then ill prolly need to get ecu tuned or new ecu. not sure. any suggestions on size/brand for those parts? also, anyone know of any performance shops on Oahu, HI?

Unless your going to upgrade considerably, you don't need an upgraded fuel system. There's absolutely no need to upgrade those parts unless you're going to do some building and tuning. Get a chipped ECU and a cam and get that ish tuned and you'll probably be happier than if you put in that shiny fuel rail.

A chipped ECU on its own is worthless with your current mods. You'll need to atleast get a decent cam to get any significant gains from an ECU or tunning. Basically, you have nothing to tune yet.

you guys keep saying cam... do you mean camshaft or cam gear or both? i am looking at the bisimoto site. they have the cams and valve train as well. are these installs easy enough for me to do by myself (i am fairly good with my wrench) or would i need a shop. i really have no idea what is involved, but i like to do all my own work so i know what the hell is changing on my car.
