Default Front End Bushings

I recently went to the local tire shop to get a front end alignment. The alignment guy showed me that my lower control arm bushings were bad and need to be replaced. So I called the guys over at energy suspension and got the front end bushing kit on the way.I have never put lower control arm bushings in a honda and wanted to know what/how do I do it?

same story here the energy bushings are amazing easy install, great performance quality. there not hard to put in but the old ones are hard to get out... the supposed to be pressed out but i used a torch heated em up a bit not super hot just to get the rust loose and i used a 22mm 1/2 drive craftsman socket and a hammer and they came out perfectly... easy to install though... to energy

I took off both my LCAs off and took them to a machine shop along with new oem bushings. They pressed out my old bushings and pressed in the new ones. They charged me 10 bucks to do it. My old bushings were so bad that the outside was separated from the middle, and every time I hit a bump or used my brakes, my car would make a horrible grinding noise as if a car was being dragged on the floor without wheels.

I got them out without the heat. I just used a vice,5 lb hammer,1-1/16 socket and knocked them out when I put it all back together it corrected my toe problem I had.Now its time for new tires!

Yea most shops dick you for not knowing thats why I tell my customers all their options. That keeps them coming back for other repairs unlike the shops that lie or ''fail to mention'' and when you find out your mad and you don't go back. They loose in the end cause bad news travel faster than good news!

I cut the bushing sleeves with a sawzall to loosen them up and then tapped them out with a flathead like a chisel.
