Friends 96 Ex Civic Seafoam Problems, Now no spark!!

Default Friends 96 Ex Civic Seafoam Problems, Now no spark!!

My friend and i were seafoaming his 96 civic ex, we put the seafoam in a cup, and i guess put to much of it int the brake booster, and it stalled, and would not start, it just would crank, i need help!!

Couple of things it could be is that when the excessive amount of seafoam mad it into the combustion chamber it acts like excessive resistance and makes the spark backtravel through the dist. I have seen it before destory dist. and ecu's so try those and should fix your problem.

you could have a problem with you could have messed up the spark plugs.... check them and see if they are fouled out....

Your brake booster has nothing to do with your engine. Since it cranks, do the simple tests, check for spark and fuel.

^^ he put too much in through the brake booster, it connects to the intake manifold and has a vacuum to lead the seafoam into the engine so it does have ot do with it...
