Default freeze plug help integra

Hey guys i'm trying to figure what size freeze plug i need to get for the back of my ls vtec where the black box was. I couldnt find one solid answer , with people claiming i need anywhere from a 34.3 - 35mm. I have tried a 34.3 which was too small and a 35 which was too big. I cant find anyplace local that has a plug inbetween those two sizes. Anybody know what the ls block takes for sure?

Also, would you guys install this with hondabond or somethign to make sure it stays put and doesnt leak?

I don't know about size but you should be able to find that info in a service manual if you can get your hands on one.

Small piece of aluminum shaped to fit with some JBweld worked great for me

its 34.3. i just did mine (gsr) and it fit nicely. you have to hammer it in so it should be a little tight.

There ARE times where the hole is too large for the 34.3 plug - I talked to Earl and he uses 35mm plugs regularly (pounded).

Already told this to the OP ~ just posting for reference

Get the right size plug and that should not leak. I've never used any sealant on any freeze plug i've done and they have worked just fine.

the OP starts off by saying that he has tried both.

Yes, I read... I talked with him, as stated.

35mm has to be used.
Freeze the plug, heat the block w/ a torch - it will fit if 34.3 is too small.
