Ok nice write up I need some help I'm currently working on the same project and I've got the motor all tore down to the block and I'm takin it to the machine shop next week to get honed and cleaned up any idea on pistons? I'm not building it to race its gonna be a daily driver but I know how it drove with the stock head and I just want some more power I was thinking maybe some high compression pistons and maybe a stage one cam not gonna change internals the head has already been shaved but I'm not sure how much was took off any suggestions???

This thread is about simply swapping heads. Not about upping compression or changing out pistons. I would suggest looking into the All Motor forum but from MY research, you're wasting your time all the way around.

Can anyone help me out with some info? I have a z6 head going on a d15b2 block and I need to know which exhaust manifold and downpipe to use.

so overall what other effects did this have on your car other than a little bit better low end torque and the VTEC benefits? any difference in fuel mileage? tings of that nature.
fyi im not necessarily new to cars, i know a little bit, basics, just nothing about hondas, hence my joining this forum :D
edit: sorry, old thread i know..
