Re: Axle Replacement Tutorial With PICS! (paragus)
i have something to add to write up #8 i believe. When hammering keep the castle nut on you do not want to miss while hammering and hammer off a few threads. Just keep the nut on enough the allow you to miss the threads incase you became like lightning (never striking the same place twice)
Good stuff, they should make a forum with threads such as this. post the tutorial and then lock it.

Good write up Tom. I found the trick on how to fill the tranny fluid up like that when I was working up at Honda. I will tell you this the guy that showed it to me was the Master Tech at the Honda Dealership I worked for. So to help with that ******* that is giving you a hard time. The Honda dealer shows other people this tip and even use it themselves.

Re: Axle Replacement Tutorial With PICS! (showspeed.com)
I'm trying to break the 32mm nut and it's a bitch!
When looking at the nut there is a piece of metal that looks to bent in from the axle so the nut won't move. Do I have to bend that piece back out to remove the 32mm nut?
I'll post a pic if needed.....

The axles were easy once I found a nice thick chisel and just pryed them out

One of the 32mm nuts was a bitch to get off. But after some sanding and beating with screwdriver / hammer and breaking one Craftsman screwdriver they were both removed.
