Exhaust Fumes entering cabin 92-95 civic
My civic hatch d15z1 started to have exhaust fumes entering the cabin under load, high rpms and climbing up hills.
Cruising speed - no fumes.
Took car to muffler shop and hr checked exhaust at idle... No leak.
Im starting to get headaches while driving.
Any help would be appreciated

you can use a shirt or something to plug the tail pipe to create back pressure and then be able to see where the exhaust is coming from.

there is a rubber boot under the shifter boot, make sure its still in place and sealed, just remove the center console and you will see what I am talking about

I had this happen to me for a while. The bolts on the header to cat could be loose. Check where all pipes meet under your car, make sure the bolts are on tight. Check the axleback as well.

Update:
slipped a piece of paper between the liftgate door and closed it- tight in some areas (hard to pull out) and loose in other areas (slided out easily)
found the areas that are not sealed!
Slipped the paper again between the backglass and the liftgate- again found the areas that were not sealed...
New weatherstrip is $100!
Ill try to adjust the glass and liftgate..
