Default How to remove liquid from head bolt hole?

One simple pic.

Upper hole is filled with oil, lower one with coolant. I don't have air compressor, nor am I willing to remove the block at this point of being about to install a cylinder head.

Plus, also an expert suggested that white smoke could be due to the head being under-torqued (bought high quality today from using a $10 HF torque wrench),(I did a HG job once, but failed. Block/head are free from warp/crack by tests). I read that oil inside holes is normal. Coolant might have spilled from block coolant, because the car is parked on side of road and tilted to the right front.

Go to your local office supply store when they open in the morning, and buy a few cans of compressed air. Go to your local parts store and buy some aerosol degreaser/parts cleaner. Spray the compressed air in the holes to clear them out, then the parts cleaner to clean them, then the compressed air again to dry it out.

Get a small syringe, remove the needle or use a big needle and suck whatever is inside that hole. You may need to soak a degreaser or solvent to clean the hole of oils. Then suck it again with the syringe. Blow away the remaining residues using the same syringe.

Rags or shop towels, a small long flat screw driver and brake cleaner.

start by remove the most you can with the rag and the screw driver into the hole, then insert the brake cleaner straw in the hole put the rag above to prevent splash your face. Clean the hole again with the rag, repeat the process until it's completely clean.

After end clean it spray it with wd-40

@ Walmart in the isle where they have kitchen utensils, right next to the turkey baster, they have a "flavor injector". It is essentially a very large syringe w/a very large gauge needle. It has 1000+ uses on your car.

It's not like the Ron Popeil thing - this one has an actual needle as opposed to a large bore plastic opening.

Shop vac, duct tape a piece of hose onto the shop vac hose a size close to the threaded hole size. Like this

Bought canned compressed air, and used alternatively with break cleaner. It did a good job with traces of water in the hole. Thanks everybody
