also you could be missing the bumper support bracket that holds the corners of the bumper along ( its that metal bar that seems to do nothing in front of the headlights when you remove the bumper)

no no no, there is a metal slot directly under the headlight where a portion of the bumper slides into and seats perfectly.
from the picture it looks like you are directly beneath the slot that i'm talking about.

its suppossed to hold the bumper up and allow the bumper to slide back all the way.

As for people who actually want to help, I do not have the bumper support in at all. Therefore the mentioned brackets are also not in. Im going to put the beam in and see what happens. Also I was given an idea in my other thread about using different hardware. I will try that as well. If the project fails I will be back in here, okay? Thanks guys.
