EG black interior swap
Ok, well I've been trying to find a complete black interior from the 92-95 Civic Si to replace my ugly blue interior in my CX but only came across 2 or 3 people who have the complete interior.. so then I decided I'm going to buy every part piece by piece thru junkyards and HT classifieds.. so far I only have the door panels and rear seats and center console in black! it's been about half a year and damn these black interior parts are hard to come by.. has anybody on here converted their ugly blue/grey EG interior to black? tell me how u did it and where u got it!! im tired of looking for these parts piece by piece...

When i got my hatch it is a VX, come to find out i did not notice until a friend told me, that my interior use to be blue and it is actually sprayed all black, the whole thing. It doesn't really look tacky, but it is a little dirty and could use a wood wiping from my lazy ***.

Re: EG black interior swap (civicsareslow)
I converted my blue to black and it took me 4 months, and I live in Hawaii. I had a friend who had a black dash and at the junkyard, I pulled off the rear panels, carpet, door sills, and tailgate panel (lucky find since the junkyard doesn't have many Hondas). I bought the door panels from H-T. I bought Del Sol seats locally and rear seats from an Si from another island. I bought the optional audio console and optional armrest from eBay. I bought miscellaneous small things (glove box, small panels for the rear panels, center console, door handles, window cranks, etc.) from H-T, eBay, and the Honda stealership.

Re: EG black interior swap (Grip King)
I got most of my interior from a local wrecking yard, it took a few months to come across everything in near perfect condition. So worth the wait though, doesn't look as cheap as the blue.
