Hi, i have a 96 civic coupe with a 98 b18c1. Just recently i saw my radio was out. Also my check engine light is not off. haha. but its because that fuse keeps blowing?? i didnt even ghave the keys in or anything, i pulled the old fuse, it was blown. Then right when the new one goes in, bam, blown. I also tried a few larger size fuses. all blew. what is up?? can anyone help me. i dont really have any tools to check wiring problems. hope someone can help. thanks

some how the circuit is getting constant power backfed in to it.
if the key is off that circuit is basically grounded by the key switch. If there is something connected wrong in the rest of the car and giving the circiut constant power, paff the fuse blows like you mentioned.

Seriously, ya'll need to buy a helms manual
There's 2 wires that supply power to the stereo. One that's always on (to keep memory and such) and one that's switched on with the ignition.
In the first case, it's fused by the under-hood fuse box. I'll assume that's not the fuse you keep changing, as most people don't even know that exists. So, it's probably the ignition switched line, which runs through the under-dash fusebox (10A Fuse #28)
From the fusebox to your radio is a Yellow/Red wire. If that under-dash fuse is blowing, there's a short somewhere between your fusebox and the radio. It's about a 3' wire, go find it.
My guess would be someone installed an aftermarket radio and just pushed it back into the DIN space, likely squishing that (and likely other) wires, and causing a short.
Edit:
Course, you say it keeps blowing even without the keys in, so maybe you mean the under-hood fuse. (7.5A #47) In which case, it's a White/Blue wire that runs in from the underhood fusebox, around the bottom of your dash, and up to the radio harness.

Re: (project_mercy)
It's definitely a short somewhere. The most likely place would be behind the dash in the area where the radio is installed; since most of the run of the wire is loomed from under the dash to the fuse pannel.
Shorts can be a bitch to find. Good luck man.
