Default easiest way to replace cam seal (B18c1 motor)

i need to replace my cam seal in my gsr motor. can i just take the v/c off and unscrew the 2 10mm bolts that hold on the end of the exhaust cam and replace it that way or do i HAVE to take the cam out and take the timing belt off? thanks

Remove the 2 14mm bolts on the cam gear to get to the cam seal.
No need of removing the whole camshalf.

You would have to do the timing belt again.

Just did this last week. B18B1, Dizzy end

Remove Valve cover.

remove 4 bolts that hold the seal and that end of the cam.

Tap the cap lightly with a hammer and punch or what ever to loosen it.

Pick it up and remove the old seal.

Install new seal...I think you can figure out the rest.

Here's a picture http://www.acuraautomotivepart...ormal

Oh I see the GSR does only have two bolts.
